Please join us at a Middle Eastern brunch featuring a reading and book-signing by internationally acclaimed Libyan author, Hisham Matar. Chicago attorney, Yaser Tabbara will be speaking about the current humanitarian crisis in Syria. Do not miss the cultural event of the season!
Matar's books include In the Country of Men, shortlisted for the Booker prize, and the just-published Anatomy of a Disappearance. Matar's essays have appeared in The Independent, The Guardian, The Times and The New York Times.
