AS ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR, YOU WILL BE WORKING DIRECTLY WITH THE CEO AS WELL AS OTHER KARAM TEAM MEMBERS. YOU WILL GAIN A CLOSE UNDERSTANDING ABOUT KARAM FOUNDATION’S WORK AND THE SYRIAN CRISIS, DEVELOP SKILLS IN OUTREACH AND COMMUNICATION, AND ENJOY A COLLABORATIVE TEAMWORK CULTURE.
Manage calendar and general email
Refer to, respond to, and maintain FAQs
Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
Coordinate event logistics including schedule, travel, and honorariums
Maintain contact lists
Maintaining physical and electronic filing system
Manage Media Requests
Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and action item follow ups
Manage volunteers and ambassadors
Basic Office and Donor Management
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree. Background in communications (preferred)
2-4 years of experience in a related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Gmail, Google Drive and Google Calendar
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Excellent interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Good team member
Sensitivity to confidential matters
Be able to work independently
40 hours per week.
