We are proud to announce that two recently resettled Syrian refugees have been placed at St. Johnsbury Academy, a private boarding school, though the Karam Scholars program. We are so proud of Ayman and Ghina, and can't wait to see what their futures hold. We are extremely proud to have partnered with such a distinguished institution to provide a once in a lifetime opportunity for these students. St. Johnsbury has understood the need of Syrian students and we are grateful to be able to connect on our mutual belief in the importance of education and the opportunities it provides youth to create their own futures.

American University Preparatory, a private secondary boarding school in Los Angeles, has graciously offered a scholarship for recently resettled refugees in the United States. NUVU ANNOUNCEMENT - April 2016
Through the Karam Scholars program, two students were placed at NuVu Studio for the summer. These two students, who are in the middle school, were able to enroll in two innovative studios that challenged them to think about the applicability of tech in everyday life.
We extend our deepest gratitude to NuVu and their wonderful team who worked hard to ensure these students benefitted as much as possible from their enrollment in these courses.
EXETER ANNOUNCEMENT - March 2016
Karam Foundation is proud to announce that four Syrian refugee students have been awarded a generous scholarship by esteemed Philips Exeter Academy to attend the Philips Exeter Academy Summer Session in Summer 2016. These four students, who live in different parts of the U.S., represent the different stories and journeys that Syrians have taken the past five years.
We are extremely grateful to Philips Exeter Academy for understanding the need of Syrian refugee youth and for answering the call to educate Syrian students. Our partnership emphasizes our mutual belief in the importance of education and the opportunities it provides for young people to build their own futures.
We are excited to watch these students thrive and succeed in a challenging and nurturing environment!
