Karam Launches Back to School Campaign
With everyone getting ready to go back to school, we would like for Syrian refugees to also be able to return. In that spirit, we’re launching the “Innovate to Educate” campaign. In the next 6 weeks, we aim to fund the rebuilding of 3 schools inside Syria and take 12 children out of child labor by sponsoring their families. Through the pilot "Learn Not Earn" program, we have so far been able to sponsor 6 children out of child labor and put them back in school.
HERE’S HOW YOU CAN BE INVOLVED!
SELL YOUR STUFF
We’ve partnered with eBay GivingWorks to create an enhanced non-profit page for Karam Foundation. We challenge you to sell 5 items on eBay in the next six weeks! All the proceeds will go to the “Innovate to Educate” campaign.

SPONSOR A CHILD TO GO TO SCHOOL
Through the Learn Not Earn program, you can directly sponsor a Syrian refugee out of child labor. $175 per month will ensure that the child can attend school.

ORGANIZE YOUR OWN SALE
Don’t want to use eBay? No problem!
Set up a garage sale, and donate the proceeds to Karam Foundation. Use Craig’s List to sell a few items you’d rather hand deliver. Make a Facebook post about the vacuum you no longer need or the pair of jeans that might not fit and donate the proceeds to our Back to School Campaign.
DON’T FORGET TO TELL YOUR FRIENDS!
Share the campaign with your friends and motivate them to join the campaign. Follow the hashtag #Innovate2Educate to track the campaign.
Let’s do this,
