QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong written communications skills

  • In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter

  • Experience with analytical tools such as Facebook and Instagram Insights

  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, and attention to detail

  • Experience with Google Drive

  • Strong time management skills

  • Experience with Canva preferred

  • Experience with Mailchimp preferred

  • Able to take on multiple tasks at a time

  • Familiar with social media scheduling services (Hootsuite, Tweetdeck)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keep social media networks up-to-date on Karam’s work and the impact of our programs by sharing creative outputs (photos, videos, and blog posts) developed by our Communications Team in Turkey, Syria, and the US.

  • Post relevant and engaging content to Karam Foundation’s social media accounts including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram

  • Respond to any messages that are sent to Karam via Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook

  • Connect with influencers, public figures, and like-minded organizations that are active on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter by engaging with content.

  • Keep track of content that is shared on Facebook and Instagram

  • Measure the growth of our following on Instagram and Facebook

HOURS:

Part-time, 15 hours a week. Paid Internship.
