Giving Tuesday
at Karam

Everything you need to take action and unleash generosity on the biggest giving day of the year.

What (and when) is Giving Tuesday?

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.

This year, we celebrate Giving Tuesday on December 1st.

Empower your community to take action!

Join The Journey

This year, we are asking our supporters to join our recently launched monthly giving program, The Journey.

The Journey is a community of passionate global change-makers who believe that being a refugee is simply a circumstance — a circumstance that should not have long-term impacts on the future.

Join The Journey at any level and help support Syrian mothers, fathers, and children on their journeys towards self-sufficiency and leadership.

Spread the word!

Get your community involved by sharing this graphic on your social media platforms. Be sure to tag Karam and your friends and family so they, too, can unleash generosity!

Spread some holiday cheer!

Our holiday gift guide is here! Karam’s shop has something for everyone on your list. From all-natural and organic soaps made by refugee women to wooden mother-of-pearl keepsake boxes to face masks for your friends and family, give the gift of hope while supporting Syrian refugees and Syrian tradition.

Share Karam's impact

Despite this year’s challenges, Karam’s impact deepened in 2020. All students have remained in school and all families have continued on their pathways to self-sufficiency. So far in 2020:
  1. 93 families have been supported, ensuring education for 336 children.
  2. 86 virtual and 30 in-person Innovative Education workshop sessions were held.
  3. 295 backpacks filled with stationery and health supplies were distributed, and 138 tablets were provided to families in preparation for both in-person and virtual schooling.
  4. 40 mothers are now supported with mental health programming.
  5. 139 students received scholarships for higher education, and 13 students graduated!

Our work would not be possible without your support.

Thank you for your Karam.
