Karam Leadership Program (KLP) Spring 2015 took place on
April 29 - May 2 at the Karam Computer Lab at the Salam School in Reyhanli, Turkey.

This was our second KLP mission, a follow-up to our successful fall 2014 mission in which we offered technology and entrepreneurship workshops and built a fully-equipped computer lab at the Salam School for 300 Syrian high school students currently displaced on the Syrian-Turkish border.

The spring mission continued with the same students under the leadership of KLP mentor, Mohanad Ghashim, who provided an intensive 4-day job training course. Students with an interest in a tech career were given an opportunity to apply for a job at Ghashim's company: ShopGo.me

KLP provides Syrian refugee teenagers with the tools to build a brighter future for themselves. The objective is to instill in these displaced youth a passion for technology and open a viable career path for the future.
